Tenpa Nyima

Tenpa Nyima studied Tibetan language in the Chamdo Gonchen Jampaling monastery. He then attended the Sherab Gastel Institute in Dharamsala for 3 years where he studied Tibetan history and English. After his studies, he assisted Chamdo Sherab with the edition of four volumes of the history of Chamdo and worked for several years in the Amnye Machen Institute, where he transcribed and edited historical publications.

In 2015 he taught Tibetan language at the National Institute for Oriental Language and Civilisations (INALCO) in Paris.

Tenpa Nyima joined the ERC TibArmy team in September 2017; he is responsible for transcribing and digitalising textual and audio Tibetan sources and coordinating the development of the lexicon of military terminology.
