Tashi Tsering

Tashi Tsering (Josayma) has been the Academic Director of Amnye Machen Institute, Tibetan Centre for Advanced Studies, Dharamshala, since 1992. Prior to this he was Research & Cultural Officer of the Library of Tibetan Works & Archives, 1981-1998 and Head of the Tibetan Publication Department of LTWA, 1980-1998.

Since 2002 he has also been a Consultant/Advisor to the Namgyal Institute of Tibetology, Gangtok, Sikkim. In 2016, he was re-elected as a member of the Advisory Board to the Association of International Tibetan Studies, a post he previously held from 1989-2003.
